Buying
How do I buy a watch from you?
It's simple. Send us a message about the piece and ask whatever you'd like. We'll send any photos, video or details you need. Once we agree on the details and the watch is paid in full, we issue your invoice. You can pick it up in person by appointment or have it shipped to you, fully insured.
What payment methods do you accept?
Wire transfer, Zelle, credit card and crypto. Card payments carry a 4% processing fee.
Can I put a watch on hold?
Yes, with a 10% deposit.
Is my deposit refundable?
If we can't source the watch you asked for, your deposit comes back in full. Once we've found and bought the watch for you, the deposit is non-refundable, because the piece was bought on your word.
Do you take trades?
Yes, full trades and part trades. Tell us what you're wearing now and what you have in mind, and we'll work out the numbers with you.
Authenticity
How do I know the watch is genuine?
Every watch is checked by a certified watchmaker before it changes hands. We check the serial number against the stolen watch database, and the movement is inspected, timed and pressure tested. If a watch needs service or a polish, it's done before it goes out.
Are your watches polished?
Not always, and on purpose. Many collectors prefer a case that's never been polished, with its original lines intact, so some pieces stay that way. If you'd rather have yours polished, just ask.
Condition grades
What do your condition grades mean?
- New / unworn
- Never worn. Stickers and protective film usually still on.
- Excellent
- Very light signs of wear that you'd have to look for. Nothing visible at arm's length.
- Very good
- Light wear from careful use, such as fine hairlines on the case or bracelet. Crystal and dial are clean.
- Good
- Wear consistent with regular use: scratches on the case or bracelet, possibly small marks. Everything works as it should.
- Fair
- Heavier wear or a cosmetic flaw that's clearly noted in the listing.
Whatever the grade, the photos show the exact watch you're buying.
Warranty
Do your watches come with a warranty?
Yes. Every watch comes with a one-year warranty on the movement, covering any movement or complication issue. It doesn't cover damage from drops, mishandling, intentional damage or negligence.
Shipping
How do you ship?
FedEx or UPS overnight, fully insured, with a signature required on delivery.
How fast will my watch ship?
Within 24 hours of your payment clearing.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship anywhere in the US fully insured, and we ship internationally too.
Selling and consignment
How do offers work?
Send us photos and details of your watch, and we'll come back with an offer. If you accept, we send you a fully insured shipping label. Once the watch arrives and checks out, we send the wire.
How fast do I get paid?
Usually within 24 hours of the watch passing inspection.
Do you take watches on consignment?
Yes. Terms depend on the piece, so the best way to start is to reach out directly and we'll walk you through the options.
Service
How does service work?
Once we receive your watch and inspect it, you get an estimate. Nothing starts until you approve it. Turnaround depends on the work involved, and we'll tell you before we begin.
